Rama Meadows

Rama Meadows lie above Astore town, a mix of green grass, pine forest and streams. From the meadows a trail continues to Rama Lake at the foot of the glaciers of the Nanga Parbat massif.

There are basic rest houses and camping places, and the area is peaceful compared with busier spots. Combine it with a crossing of Deosai if you have a strong vehicle and good weather.

Evenings are cold. Carry warm clothing and enough supplies from Astore bazaar.
